Adomoo Admin Privacy Policy

Adomoo Admin is a staff-only app for the team at adomoo.com, an online shop run by Honesty Sales Ltd (company number 15075596), PA103 Technology Centre, Glaisher Drive, Wolverhampton WV10 9RU, United Kingdom. This policy explains what the app collects and why. It does not replace the adomoo.com privacy policy for shoppers.

Who can use the app

The app only works for people the shop owner has invited. A phone is connected with a one-time pairing code created in the adomoo.com admin. The app has no public sign-up and no adverts.

What the app collects

• Staff name and role: entered by the shop owner when creating the pairing code, so the team can see which phone is which and what it is allowed to do.
• Device details: the phone's platform (iPhone or Android), model name, the date it was last used, and a secure sign-in key, which is stored on adomoo.com only as a one-way hash.
• Notification token: a push token, so the phone can receive new-order alerts. Your alert-sound choice is saved with it.
• Product photos: only the photos you choose to take or pick for a product. They are uploaded to adomoo.com and shown on the shop.

The app does not collect your location, contacts, microphone audio, browsing history or advertising identifiers, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.

Customer and shop information

Staff can view and update orders and products that already exist on adomoo.com, including customer names, addresses and contact details needed to fulfil orders. This information stays on the adomoo.com server. The app shows it on screen and does not keep a separate copy, apart from the sign-in key and settings saved securely on the phone.

How the information is used

• To connect the phone to the shop and check what each person is allowed to do.
• To send new-order alerts.
• To update orders, stock, prices and products on adomoo.com.

We do not sell any information or use it for advertising.

Who else handles it

• Amazon Web Services (UK): hosts the adomoo.com server.
• Expo, Apple and Google: deliver push notifications. Each alert contains only the order number, the total, the customer's first name and initial, and their town.

All traffic between the app and adomoo.com is encrypted (HTTPS).

How long it is kept and deleting it

Device details are kept while the phone is connected. Tapping Sign out of this phone in the app, or the owner removing the phone in the adomoo.com admin, disconnects it immediately and removes its notification token. Alert delivery logs are deleted automatically after 14 days. To ask for your details to be deleted, contact us using the details below.

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
